Walking for Dreams

Forth Annual 5K Family Walk

Indianapolis Canal Walk,
White River State Park

Walking for Dreams is a 5K Family Walk that was started in 2004 to help local Indianapolis non-profit organizations raise needed funds to enable them to do more of what they do so well – serve the youth of Indianapolis. Walking for Dreams pulls together local organizations to share in a joint fundraiser. Walkers of all ages will join together to support their special organization by raising pledges and participating in the 5K walk.

The pledges you raise will go directly to support Area Youth Ministry's work with teens in the inner city neighborhoods of Indianapolis !

The kids that frequent Area Youth Ministry's Drop-In Center were recently asked to participate in an essay contest. The question? “ What does the Drop-In Center mean to you?”
