Statement
of Beliefs
Area youth Ministry (AYM) is an evangelical, Christian, outreach
ministry to urban teens. AYM is not part of any specific denomination.
AYM holds the Bible as the inspired and infallible word of
God. God is triune but one God. Jesus Christ is the incarnate
God/man who lived on earth, was crucified for our sins, died,
rose from the dead and will come again in judgment. Salvation,
for those who believe in this, is a free gift from God, by
grace, worked by the Holy Spirit. Believers can look forward
to eternal life with God, while unbelievers will experience
eternal life in damnation with Satan. These truths enable many
Christians of various denominations to work together to build
God's Kingdom in the lives of people.
