Meet the AYM Staff

Robert Blazek, Executive Director Robert Blazek, Executive Director
  • Church Involvement: Bob is a member at Calvary Lutheran Church where he is the Director of Christian Outreach, a member of the Spiritual Care Ministry, the Stephen Ministry Leader, and a member of the choir.

  • Education: Bob holds a B.S. in Education.

  • Professional or Volunteer Awards: Bob has received the Jaycees Outstanding Educator Award and Community Groups Participation awards. He has been named the Sertoma Club Man of the Year.

  • Family Life: Bob is married to his wife, Rosie. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.

  • What it means to Bob to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "AYM is the working out of my calling from God. I've spent 30 years of my 41 years in ministry guiding AYM by following God. I consider it a great privilege to be used by God in this way."

  • What Bob thinks is the greatest part about being on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "The greatest thing is knowing I have participated in the salvation of a youth."

Teresa Waddle, Development Director Teresa Waddle, Development Director
  • Church Involvement: Teresa is a member of Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church in Greenwood.

  • Education: Teresa received her B.A. in International Economics and Cultural Affairs (Latin American Studies) and Spanish from Valparaiso University.

  • Community Involvement: Teresa is a Life Member of Alpha Phi Omega, the national co-ed service fraternity, and a member of the Valparaiso University Guild. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

  • Family Life: Teresa has a twin sister, a brother, three nieces, two nephews, and two cats. She is originally from Madison, Indiana, where her parents still reside.

  • What it means to Teresa to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "Serving God by helping others share the blessings and gifts they have received. Being part of a ministry investing in our youth, the future leaders of our city, country, and world."

  • What Teresa thinks is the greatest part about being on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "Being surrounded by such supportive and faithful servants of God and having the opportunity to impact the lives of youth."

Becky Meadows, Center Director Becky Meadows, Center Director
  • Church Involvement: Becky is a member at the Church at the Crossing where she is involved in the singles ministry. She serves in the praise band and as an usher.

  • Education: Becky graduated from Brownsburg High School, Indiana Barber College, and Indiana Christian University in their Ministerial Licensing Program.

  • Professional or Volunteer Awards: Becky has been honored by the Indiana Youth Institute and the Who's Who in Vocational.

  • Family Life: Becky has a sister, Pam Edwards, who lives in Columbus, IN, and a brother, Dave Meadows, who lives in Lebanon, TN.

  • What it means to Becky to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "I've had the privilege of seeing many lives changed for Christ while ministering at AYM— mine included!"


Nick Bolden, Region Director Nick Bolden, Region Director
  • Church Involvement: Nick is a member at Christ Church Apostolic. Nick is an ordained minister. He directs a Sunday morning Hip Hop service as an extension of his church's youth department where many AYM kids are fed into.

  • Education: Nick has received a Bachelors of Liberal Studies in Religion from Boston University and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.

  • Professional or Volunteer Awards: Nick has received the Americorps Volunteer award, is an alumni of the United Way Leadership Training and Development program and is a participant in the Devos Urban Leadership Initiative.

  • Family Life: Nick is married to his wife, Kimberly. They have two daughters: LaNesha, and Leah.

  • What it means to Nick to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "AYM allows me to be as creative as possible with freedom and few restrictions. It has allowed me to perfect my skills when it comes to working with youth and to develop a unique system of ministry."


Cammie Thompson, Contact Worker Cammie Thompson, Region Director
  • Church Involvement: Cammie is a member of God's Grace Community Church where she is the head of the music department. She also participates in the outreach, youth, prayer/alter, praise team ministries, women's ministry and ministerial counseling. Cammie is also a vocal coach.

  • Education: Cammie received her bachelors degree from Indiana University and has taken ministers' courses at Aenon and counseling courses at Rod & Staff Ministries.

  • Family Life: Cammie has eight siblings—one brother and seven sisters. She is married to her husband, Ben.

  • What it means to Cammie to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "Being part of a family orientated ministry with a common goal to win youth for Christ one kid at a time."

  • What Cammie thinks is the greatest part about being on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "Being in a position where I can be used by Christ and making a difference in the lives of our young people."


Rodney Anderson, Contact Worker

  • Church Involvement: Rodney has attended The Anointed Gospel of Truth for the past seven years, where he serves as a Deacon and a teacher.

  • Education: Rodney attended the Minneapolis Community College for two years and Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for three years. Rodney also played professional basketball overseas in 11 different countries for four years.

  • Community Involvement: Rodney is an active volunteer at the YMCA.

  • Family Life: Rodney is married to his wife, Katina Anderson.

  • What it means to Rodney to be involved on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "AYM gives me an opportunity to do God's will in my life, witness, disciple, and evangelize to the people. I love working and helping people as much as I can. In addition, I also love telling people about God and AYM opens the door to allow me to do so."


Tuesday Tate, Contact Worker

  • Church Involvement: Tuesday is a member of Healing Streams Word and Worship Center where she serves as a minister in varying capacities and oversees Ministry Development.

  • Education: Tuesday received a B.S. from Wilberforce University and has a System Engineering certification from Electronic Data System and System Audit Certification from Software Quality Assurance Association. She is a student of the Word of God and has taken classes at Crossroads Bible College.
  • Tuesday's Involvement in the Community: Tuesday is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and teaches and ministers at the Juvenile Center, Women's Prison, Men's Prison, and conferences throughout Indianapolis."

  • Family Life: Tuesday has two brothers, three sisters, five nephews, and four nieces.

  • What Tuesday thinks is the greatest part about being on staff with Area Youth Ministry: "Ministering and teaching the young people and experiencing the "light bulb" effect—when they get it. The angels rejoice when one comes "
